Poll : Support for Bush Grows After "48 Hours" Speech

Americans have rallied strongly around President Bush and accepted his call for war with Iraq as the only practical way to remove Saddam Hussein and end the threat posed by his weapons of mass destruction, according to a Washington Post-ABC News Poll conducted last night.

Seven in 10 said they supported Bush's televised call to go to war without the blessing of the United Nations unless Saddam Hussein and his sons leave Iraq within 48 hours

As you surely already know, nearly every President's ratings have risen directly after addressing the nation.
No surprise here.

Fill up the TV's with photos of body bags etc, and watch his ratings drop and the demonstrations rise.

Wonder what the military will do to dish out only the news they want the US / world to actually see?

I'm sure America's brightest have had teams working on "damage accessment" issues for some time.

Joey is merely stating the truths of war, the sadness isn't in Joey's post, it's in the brutal reality of the Bush Administration's war.

FatFrank - Doesn't surprise me. If we had a National vote on whether we should remove Saddam I bet we would have atleast 75%.

The only reason we hear so much about the anti-remove saddam movement is because CNN, NBC, CBS tell us what they want us to hear and the minority is always more vocal than the majority.
